Zelensky participated in the Ukrainian breakfast yesterday morning. He said this when he was asked when the peace talks will start. Meanwhile, the video of Zelensky's speech has spread on Twitter.
Zelensky said, 'Today I really don't understand who to talk to, what to talk about. I'm actually not sure if the Russian president, who occasionally appears in front of the green screen, is real or not. I don't understand whether he is alive or not, whether he is making all the decisions, or someone else is making them.'
Expressing disappointment at this time, the president of Ukraine said, "I don't understand how you (Russia) can start a full-scale invasion of Ukraine the day after the leaders of Europe promised something." I really don't understand who we are dealing with. When we talk about peace talks, I don't know who to talk to.'
Meanwhile, a few hours after Zelensky's statement, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov gave a strong response. Fox News quoted him as saying, 'It's clear that Russia and Putin are a big problem for Ukraine and Zelensky. And it's also clear that Zelensky sincerely wants Russia and Putin to not exist. But the sooner he realizes that Russia exists and will exist in the future, the better for Ukraine as a country.'
Zelensky is believed to have made the comments in reference to Putin's recent actions. Because, in the last few weeks, the Russian President did not participate in any official event. He even canceled the annual press conference last December.
