Rahul Dravid is such a humble, charming Pakistani pacer

Yesterday was India's coach and former captain Rahul Dravid's birthday. One of the best batsmen in Indian cricket history has entered 50 years. This former batsman, who scored 13 thousand 288 runs in 164 Tests, once got the nickname 'The Wall' in Indian cricket for his grammatical batting and never giving up mentality. He played 334 ODIs and scored 10 thousand 889 runs. Dravid is also one of the all-time best with an average of 52.31 in Tests and 39.16 in ODIs.

Rahul Dravid has no small number of fans around the world. Cricket lovers also have a certain respect for Dravid, known as the 'gentleman' in cricket. Pakistan's young pacer Shahnawaz Dahani grew up watching Dravid play as a child. Dahani impressed with the fourth highest run scorer in Tests for India.

On his 50th birthday, the Pakistani pacer tweeted his respect and love to Dravid. There, he paid a birthday tribute by posting a picture taken with Dravid just two months ago.

Posting the picture, Dahani wrote on Twitter, 'Most humble person Sir Rahul Dravid. Happy birthday to him. Here is the story behind this film. I was having dinner at a restaurant with some friends in Brisbane, Australia during the World Cup. Sir Rahul Dravid came to that restaurant. He approached me while looking for a table. He spoke to all of us with great sincerity. We all took pictures with him.'

Dahani is impressed with this incident during the T20 World Cup in Australia. That a big cricket star like Rahul Dravid could be so modest, so down to earth, was beyond Dahani's idea, 'Imagine then, the head coach of your rival team himself comes and talks to you and your friends. I learned that day, humility is the key to success.'

Dahani was not in Pakistan's main squad for the T20 World Cup in Australia. He was kept as 'standby'. He has played two ODIs and 11 T20 matches for Pakistan so far. Kal Dravid celebrated his 50th birthday with a win for India. India sealed the series by 4 wickets in the second ODI of the series against Sri Lanka in Kolkata.
